Steps

  1. To prepare a baby salmon stuffed with caviar, you'll first need to prepare the fillets. Cut the salmon in half lengthwise and remove the skin. Place the flesh side down on chopping board. Scoop out the inside of the fish and place it on the cutting board, skin side up, with the bones still in place. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Set aside to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or overnight. Preheat the oven to 450?F (232?C) and line an 8 x 8-inch baking dish with foil or tin foil. Drizzle the foil with olive oil and sprinkle with kosher salt. Bake for 20 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes. Remove foil from the dish and let it sit for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
