Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (232 degrees C) and line a baking sheet with foil. Place salmon fillets, skin-side down, in foil-lined baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Bake in preheated oven until salmon is opaque and flakes easily when pierced with fork, 20 to 25 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
