  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips. Pour the batter into muffin tins and bake for 18 to 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the muffins cool for 5 minutes before removing to wire racks to cool completely.
