  1. In a large, heavy-bottomed saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the salmon and cook, turning occasionally, until it reaches an internal temperature of 145 ?F (63 C). Remove from the heat and set aside to rest for 5 minutes. In the same saucepan add the asparagus, peas, and pearl barley. Cook, tossing, for 1 minute. Season with salt and pepper. Serve with the steamed organic salmon.
