First, you will need: 1 cup (240 ml) strawberry puree, 2 tablespoons sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and 1 tablespoon lemon juice. You will also need 2 cups (400 g) of flour, 1/2 cup of baking powder, 1/4 teaspoon baking soda and 2 teaspoons of salt. Mix the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients until they are just combined. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan. Bake the cake in the oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until the toothpick comes out clean. Allow the cakes to cool for 10 minutes before removing them from the pan and serving.
