  1. To prepare stuffed orange peppers, you'll first need to cut the oranges in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds with a spoon. Cut each half into quarters. Place the quartered orange halves in the bottom of an 8 x 8-inch baking dish. Fill each quarter with about 1 tablespoon of shredded cheddar cheese. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to use. To make the filling, mix together 2 tablespoons melted butter with 2 teaspoons each kosher salt and ground black pepper. Spread the mixture evenly over each pepper half. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until heated through. Remove from the oven and let sit for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
