  1. To prepare a sweet potato souffle, you'll first need to prepare the sweet potatoes. Peel and cut the Sweet Potatoes in half lengthwise. Cut each half into 12 inch slices. Place the cut slices in the bottom of ungreased souffle dish. Fill the dish with melted butter and sprinkle with confectioners' sugar. Bake in 375 degree F oven for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool. Serve with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream.
