To prepare the bbq back ribs, you'll need: 1 pound brisket, 2 pounds pork shoulder, 1 cup sweet and sour sauce, 3 tablespoons brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon each ground cumin and coriander, and 1 teaspoon ground paprika. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork and cook, turning occasionally, until the meat is browned on all sides, about 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and set aside to rest. In the same skillet, add the onion and garlic. Cook, stirring frequently, for 1 minute. Stir in the barbecue sauce. Bring the mixture to boil, then reduce heat to medium and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, or until thickened and bubbly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
