  1. To make teriyaki beef jerky, you'll need: 1 pound (240 g) beef tenderloin, 2 tablespoons (60 ml) soy sauce, 1 teaspoon (2.5 tsp) kosher salt, and 12 cup (120 milliliters) brown sugar. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F (232 degrees C) and line a baking sheet with foil. Cut the beef into 1/4-inch (.6-centimeter) thick slices. Place the sliced beef in the pan and cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until the meat is no longer pink, about 10 minutes. Remove from the heat and allow to rest for 5 minutes before cutting into strips.
