  1. To make a turmeric coffee latte, combine 1 cup (240 milliliters) of boiling water with 1 teaspoon (2.5 ml) turmeric powder. Bring to boil, then reduce the heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, stir in 2 tablespoons (60 g) ground black pepper, 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg, 1 tablespoon ground cardamom and 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt. Pour into mugs and top with whipped cream, if desired.
