To make a venison picadillo, you'll need: 1 lb (450 g) ground beef, 1 cup (240 ml) chopped scallions, 2 tbsp. dried or fresh thyme, 1/2 c. chopped cilantro, and 2 cups (950 milliliters) water. Toss the meat with the seasonings and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours. Then, preheat your oven to 400 ?F (204 oC) and cook your meat until it's no longer pink, about 1 hour. Remove it from the oven and allow it to rest for 10 minutes before cutting it into bite-sized pieces.
