Steps
In a large saucepan, combine the vegetable oil, onion, celery, carrots, and garlic. Cook over medium heat until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in the stock and cook, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan, until it's reduced by half. Add the chinese broccoli and stir to coat. Bring to boil, then reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer, covered, for 30 to 40 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and serve.
