  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, salt and baking soda. Add the buttermilk and beat until the mixture is light and fluffy, about 2 minutes. Gradually add the dry ingredients, mixing just until combined. Fold in the blueberries. Spoon the batter into cupcake liners and bake for 18 to 20 minutes, or until toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the cupcakes cool before frosting.
